The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result status sassa of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The company stage established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
